In 1962, a group of young women interested in serving their community and stimulating their minds while enjoying a program geared towards fun and friendships formed the Junior Women’s Club of Lakewood. Over the years, the Club’s scope has widened but remained true to its original mission. It is a philanthropic organization that sponsors fundraisers throughout the year, with proceeds going to Lakewood organizations, the JWCL Scholarship Program, and members of our community.
